Depression

There are many forms of depression with longer term depression often needing ongoing medical intervention and possibly more specialised care.

However, milder forms of depression respond well with counselling support and often without the need for medication. That being said, regular medical check-ups are always recommended for health and wellbeing.

Mild depression can be due to lingering concerns or thoughts, a symptom of being fatigued or worn out, loneliness, social or work rejections, ill health, weight and/or image issues, low self-esteem and confidence levels, living in an unhappy environment, financial pressures, grief, and more.

Counselling in most cases can provide the support, skills and strategies, to work toward a preferred outcome, bringing feelings of self-worth, hopefulness, options, and real progress.
